The Nerja Caves
A must-see attraction in Nerja, the Caves were discovered in 1959 when some local lads found it them chance. Home to the world’s largest column and Neanderthal cave paintings that date back thousands of years, the Caves were one of the most important archaeological finds of our era. The Caves are approximately 5km in length and also host summer concerts.

Located just outside Nerja, the Eagle Aqueduct, Acueducto del Aguila, was built in the 19th century and is still in use. The historical significance of the Acueduct has been recognised by the Andalucian Government who have listed it as a ‘Site of Special Cultural Interest.’
